I
live in Saskatoon, but that is not my identity. I am me, I have eyes, and senses.
They see in pictures and snapshots of life. I am only 15, yet I have stored
a million snapshots in my brain. This is my life caught on camera. I looked
at my backyard in the same light as usual, but saw it in a different one. Twyla
Toews, Saskatoon.
iI've
been stretched out and it feels good . I love taking pictures. To me it is
like people are getting to know me through my pictures, because I take pictures
of things I like. Jasmine Fitzpatrick, Saskatoon
I
believe that beauty is anything that makes you happy. I took pictures of things
because they interested me and they have something to do with my life. Hannah
Wilkinson, Saskatoon
I
find beauty in statues, because they are other people's history, but most of
all because it shows the work of other's hands in different ways. In stone,
iron, and metals. Andrew Blair, Saskatoon.
My
community is mainly about my childhood memories. Its a place where I feel
special and confortable, where I can relax and think about my past, and about
my future. Where I've experienced things. Because my community is so small,
it's made me become more indipendent and original. Natasha Dalla-Giustina,Pennetanguishene
My
community means many things to me,neighbours, family, friends, and my cat. I
like taking pictures of older buildings, like the Midland library that used
to be a post office. It is also nature, the trees, the grass (or snow), the
flowers and Georgian Bay. I'm a naturalist, I really enjoy nature. Carl Strunkis,
Pennetanguishene

also plan on taking pictures of my friends at school. There is one thing I
really want to try to photograph, that is the racoon that always comes to
my door in the middle of the night. He is so cute! You can get pretty close
to him without him running off.Monique Bottineau, Pennetanguishene

think of Penetanguishene as a quiet, peaceful town with a vibrant history. Every
street, tree, rock, has a history that contributes to the community. When I photograph
I will keep in mind all of the history that Penetanguishene has to offer. Winnie
